What are Cookies?

When logging in to your borrower status to reserve or more, a session cookie is generated, this cookie will disappear when logging out.

Why does UCN Library Inform about Cookies?

According to “Bekendtgørelse om krav til information og samtykke ved lagring af eller adgang til oplysninger i slutbrugerens terminaludstyr”, BEK nr. 1148 af 09/12/2011, all Danish websites are bound to inform about whether they use cookies or not. This is to make the user able to decide whether to use the website or not, or optionally to block cookies.
